Join Our 2023 Thanksgiving Youth Diakonia (Service Project)

Time: Blessing during the church service & Gift Wrapping following the church service.

Location: Ascension Cathedral

Description: All youth are welcome to join our 2023 Thanksgiving Youth Diakonia Project, taking place following the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, November 19th.

Our generous parishioner, Vasiliki Harbas, has donated beautiful hand-knit items, which Father will bless in church. Our youth will gather afterward in the hall to wrap and create greeting cards - ALL AGES WELCOME!

We will then donate these gifts to the seniors living at the Post Acute Rehabilitation Center in Moraga. Our middle school group organized this activity last year, and it was a great success. The recipients were overjoyed.
